As a black man I find it funny people chose this game to be upset about a lack of diversity. PLETNY of games lack diversity but somehow we ignore that. Man I cant tell you how many times I get mad when it comes to me creating a character and all they have available is an afro or some cornrows for hairstyles. Hell, sometimes not even that. I dont care as much anymore as its been a thing for so long but more importantly, I personally dont need my people shoehorned in a game just to fill a quota. Sure I would looove to see more black folks and other PoC in games but the fact is, a large percentage of these games are made from people who dont have much experience with people of color in general. Not an excuse, its just what it is. I adore games like san andreas, gta v, miles morales etc. They knock it out the park and it feels like they really did some serious work on how to make a PoC feel real and not forced. It is getting a lot better in recent years though. I just need reviewers to keep that same energy for every single game going forward but i know they wont.
