这次更新以后chroma upscale那里super-xbr可以代替jin3了，速度几乎没差别。至于整体缩放，如果是720P->2.5K，或者480P->FullHD之类的缩放用super-xbr搭配jin3的速度相差也非常小

super-xbr sharpness 100在我这个破r9 280x上面渲染速度比nnedi3 16要快一倍，render time终于持续小于movie frame interval，基本告别presentation glitch了……效果上面稍微比nnedi3 16 neuron差一点点，可以接受。

super-xbr比其他算法的抗锯齿能力要好得多，不过和nnedi3比的话还是差得远。

我这里用670都能保证24fps的视频在720p->1080P下开个nnedi3 32 neuron 的luma double（其余全部super-xbr），280x没理由会更差吧，还是阁下看60fps的或者upscale到4k？

现在super-xbr chroma永远开始AR功能，勾选AR功能将会开启高质量AR（但目前不建议勾选，因为我看了下不行。）

根据片源设置，做madvr profile
chroma upscaling里对低质量的片源推荐使用Bilateral这个算法，对于高质量的片源建议使用nnedi3 16这个算法（以上是针对动画片源来说的），真人电视剧电影推荐使用super-xbr算法配合superRes。
image double里一次倍增推荐使用NNEDI3 32 LUMA，二次倍增推荐使用super-xbr 100（以上依然是针对Anime算法的），真人电视剧电影两次都是使用super-xbr100这个算法。
image upscaling里推荐使用Jinc算法
Image downscaling 里推荐使用Spline 3+linear light.
upscaling refinement里对于低质量的片源推荐使用 2passes 0.45strength 1algo 不要勾选color space，高质量片源推荐使用1passes 0.65strength 0algo 不要勾选color space（这玩意请根据实际设置）
去色带方面高质量的片源建议关闭，色带严重建议使用medium/high，一般的化建议使用low/high
如果全屏独占模式没问题的化建议开启
色深方面如果显示器支持10bit输出，那就选择10bit否则8bit
如果有校色设备可以去生成3DLUT来使用，在色彩还原，色域，黑位表现都有明显的提升，出来的效果可以说一点也不输给那些中高端蓝光机。
抖动算法里自己看喜欢设置吧，smmooth建议开启，锐化方面不建议开启。

补充下如果image double里使用的是Nnedi3，那么upscaling refinement里algo为0，如果是super-xbr 100为algo：1.

谢谢，我一般都是下载的10g左右的，1080p重编码的mkv。这种是不是算高质量片源？

无法判断，因为不确定的因素太多了，所以请自行判断

I'll reply to all your posts later. For now I would just like to share a new test build, using a tweaked SuperRes algorithm:

SuperRes image quality should generally be slightly better than in the official v0.88.16 build, furthermore I've added an anti-ringing filter which should noticeably reduce ringing artifacts introduced by SuperRes. I hope that the anti-ringing filter will allow us to use algo 2, which is my favorite algorithm, but didn't work well due to the added ringing artifacts in v0.88.16. FWIW, if I had to decide on final SuperRes configuration right now, it would be this:

- algo = 2
- use alternative color space = off
- low: strength=0.5; passes=1
- medium: strength=1.0; passes=1
- high: strength=1.0; passes=2
- ultra: strength=1.0; passes=4

Would like to have your feedback about this. If you believe that the above settings are a totally bad idea, please let me know. Ideally with a small sample which shows that other settings work much better. Or if you like my settings, please let me know, too. Thanks!

我就是这四样的64位，不知哪个环节出问题了导致mpc-be崩溃极其频繁。目测不是madvr因为换evr也崩溃，哭
所以主力还是32位的。。

All previous options are gone exact for "strength", which combines the previous "strength" and "passes" options. Please let me know if you're ok with the new "strength" option.

There's one important new option for you to play with: The "radius". This option mostly affects aliasing, but also sharpness to some extent. There were some (justified) complaints about SuperRes introducing aliasing. The current radius default of 0.66 is probably set too low. Please try to find videos where SuperRes produces aliasing with 0.66, and then try to find a setting which gets rid of the aliasing. Generally higher radius settings reduce aliasing, but if you set it too high, we'll get other artifacts. So we need to find a good value.

Please test with only SuperRes, without any of the other sharpeners active. Also please make sure you have "refine the image only once" activated. I'd suggest to test with the highest strength, even if it might not run in real time, so that changes to the radius can be judged better.

I'll reply to all your posts later (probably next weekend). For now I just wanted to share a test build for all those of you who are eager to play with new features:

This test build doesn't really do anything "useful" yet. But it does try to automatically detect black bars encoded into the movie. If detection succeeds, the detected "active video area" is marked with a thin green rectangle.

For those of you who want to play with this, just test some movies with different aspect ratios. Maybe even some weird stuff like IMAX encodings where aspect ratios change in the middle of the movie. This test build is supposed to handle all that just fine.

Detection of black bars might not always be super fast. I've put more weight on avoiding false detections. So if you find a situation where a detected black bar is incorrect, please provide a small video sample for me. But I think it should not occur. If you find samples where you think black bars *should* be properly detected but are not, I'd like a sample for that, as well.

In unusual situations (e.g. non-symmetrical black bars) madVR might decide to wait multiple seconds before accepting/confirming a detected black bar. So have a bit of patience in such situations.

请问下，在黑位正常的情况下，evr增强版和madvr在色彩上是不是没太大变化？

以前用evr 播放1080P点对点，感觉灰蒙蒙的，一换上madvr就感觉变的鲜艳无比，最近换个显示器重新打个驱动，在驱动那强制输出0-255，现在感觉两个渲染器在色彩和亮度上没太明显的区别了
