有存钱还是靠谱的。前几天Slay the Spire制作组里的一个也提到自己创业的过程:
caseyyano:Umm- let's see bio bio... I played a lot of games growing up like any normal person that plays video games. I did game testing as a part time job out of highschool/early college for fun- (localization testing, compatibility testing, hardware testing, there were these tests for signing off xbox360 games).
我和普通人一样都是从小开始打游戏。高中毕业后到大学前几年的时候我经常打工做游戏测试(本地化测试、兼容性测试、硬件测试等等,当时xbox360这样的兼职很多)
during game testing I was like- psh. I can make better games
so I talked to some folks in the games club at the university
and anthony was also interested in making games
so we formed a company around when we were around 21 or so.
Called "Pyew Pyew Inc"
we made a flash game and an iOS game
they didn't do so well- we couldn't finish our 3rd iOS game because we got busy with school work and also because we got jorbs. So the company was disbanded- and our game development ceased.
fast forward about 5 years into the future- I tinkered with a few game prototypes while working at a company.
And then the company said- "Nope, you can't make games. If you make it, we own it. Yes, even on your spare time."
测试途中我开始觉得:噗,我要做游戏妥妥的比这些强啊 于是我就和大学里的游戏同好会的大家聊了起来 Anthony也想做游戏 于是我们就在21岁左右建了个游戏公司 名字叫Pyew Pyew Inc 做了个Flash游戏和一个iOS游戏 结果不怎么样——然后第三个iOS游戏就没能做完,因为学业更忙了,然后我们就工作了。于是我们就解散了公司,游戏开发就结束了。 快进到5年后——我在某公司工作的时候,自己鼓捣了几个游戏的prototype。 该公司表示:“不行,你不准做游戏。如果你做了,那所有版权都是我们的,没错哪怕是你业余时间做的也一样。”

anyway, it was great working there.
I met crazy smart people, a lot of the interns became full time devs and we were all close. But well- after 5 years of working- and I worked a LOT
I wanted to do something different, they paid well- and I was frugal. So I could quit. The amount of money saved up was enough for me to not work for 12 years.
话说回来在那边工作还挺不错的 我遇见了不少贼聪明的人,很多实习生后来都当了全职开发人员,我们关系都很好。但毕竟,工作了5年之后——而且我的工作量绝对不低—— 我想要做点不同的东西。因为那边的工资很不错,而我日子又过得很省,所以我有资金辞职。老实说我攒下的钱足够我不工作12年。
爬塔应该从2015年9月前后开始做的,2017年11月发布,所以差不多两年多时间。开发团队核心是2个人,但之外包括测试、画师、音乐、动画等等加起来也有6人以上。
