没人给 美帝人民翻译下昭和维新之歌吗
In the Miluo River(Mississippi), waves stir and roll,
Beside Wu's peaks(Capitol Hill), clouds in disarray do swirl.
In this murky world, alone I stand,
Righteous indignation kindles, blood surges grand.
The powerful and noble, in pride of lineage steeped,
For the nation's woes, few of them truly weep.
The wealthy clans, in wealth's boast they're drowned,
For the state's affairs, not a single thought is found.
The wise see the signs of the nation's decline,
The ignorant still dance, in folly they combine.
The rise and fall of states, like dreams that pass,
All worldly affairs seem but a chess game's mass.
In the new spring of Showa, under the sky,
Men unite, for justice, they will not shy.
A million troops lie in our breasts,
When we die, like cherry blossoms, we'll disperse.
Over the decaying remains we stride,
Our bodies, like floating clouds, on our journey glide.
For the nation, we step forward, unafraid,
Now men start to sing, a new path is laid.
The heavens rage, the earth does quake,
A thunderous roar, a most extraordinary wake.
Those in eternal slumber can no longer rest,
Japan awakes, at this very best.
Behold, clouds hang low o'er the land,
Listen, the seas roar, a deafening grand.
Among heaven and earth, a lost soul I be,
In confusion, not knowing where to flee.
Those once praised for worldly glory,
Whose mansions still stand, can you see any?
Fame and rank are but dreams' trace,
Only sincerity will never fade or lose its grace.
If in life, we feel our spirit soar,
Who can then judge success or failure, evermore?
After chanting Li Sao, that lofty song,
Today, our impassioned laments do belong.
With swords by our sides, we're well - prepared,
To cleanse the land, though blood may be shared. |
