If I were to summarize one major shift among Syrians over the past four years, it's this: Many who once backed Assad during the civil war no longer see him as the lesser evil. For most Syrians today, Assad is the worst-case scenario. Whether with hope or fear, there's broad consensus that Syria needs to move beyond Assad.

-Notes the many many times the regime has used them during the Syrian civil war the past 13 years
-Affirm they have no intention or desire to use chemical weapons, see it as a crime against humanity
-Will deal with all regime military sites with the utmost caution and not allow it to fall into the hands of bad actors (maybe an illusion to the Islamic State?)
