- Xbox Series S runs at 1920x1080p resolution. Xbox Series X at 2560x1440p. Both have the framerate locked at 30FPS, but it is possible to unlock it with a VRR-compatible display.
- The PC version runs with all settings at maximum using an RTX 3080.
- The 3 versions are run using the cloud to support them to get the most out of their visual quality.
- Series X settings are close to the highest PC settings. Specifically, the drawing distance is the same (and it is one of the most demanding settings). In Series S, the draw distance is considerably less.
- On PC, we have slightly higher quality on clouds, reflections, and some textures.
- Loading times when starting the game are faster in Series X, however, Series S is almost twice as fast when starting a flight. It is likely that this was the higher graphics load and higher settings of Series X.
- The framerate suffers Stuttering in both versions in the more detailed cities. Series X suffers more appreciable framerate drops.
- Porting a game that was initially designed on PC is not an easy task, and if to this we add the fact that Flight Simulator is one of the most demanding PC games today, we can safely say that Asobo Studio has made a great job. |
