宫本茂在公共场合提过很多次横井君平。在社长问里、卫报、时代杂志上都谈论过，而且是很正面的。
比如时代杂志上说过：

社长问有关3ds的时候，提到vb，他也说过横井君平的往事。
在别的杂志上也提到过和横井君平一起设计水管马里奥兄弟的事情。
倒是什么争夺资源、清洗老人之类的。有实锤吗？我倒是真的好奇。怕不是脑补的。 |

那个我也通了，本质上还是马路rpg，只是马路二人多加了一个兄弟罢了，技能跟解谜还是新纸马那种强调纸片感的套路，不过喜欢马路RPG的话还是不错的
但整体乐趣和完成度没千年之门高就是了。
