That makes The Verge and gamesindustry confirming it then.

And Psyonix confirms they'll join Epic.

This is really sad to be happening.

What this could mean for Steam users:
-Possibility of Steam users not getting updates/DLC anymore(And to this day it's still a very large player-base.)
-Losing the ability to buy/gift this game.

What this means for new players after it's pulled:

-It will not be avaiable for *purchase* on Steam anymore.(Reinforcing this because people in the thread keep confusing with removing from being playable.)
-Linux support won't be as great anymore.
-Years of custom content created on the Workshop won't be accessible to them.
-Possibility of no cross-play, or cross-play with Steam players dying.
-Extensible Controller support is no more.
-Playing the game offline will not be possible without "other measures".
