Wipeout Fusion and Stuntman were part of a PS2 bundle deal TRU was doing last week, so that's why their sales are so high. With last week's buy two get one free deal, the software charts are obviously going to be dominated by PS2 software. Vice City sold 4 times the amount Madden 2003 did in its first week of sales, and Tony Hawk sold nearly the same amount as Madden did its first week. In other words, look for Tony Hawk 5 in Nov. 2003.
Also, 4 of the top 6 PS2 games are by Electronic Arts. Even in some parallel fantasy world where Sega's sports games sold as well as EA's, they're going to need a lot more than sports to catch up with EA.
More sales:
XBX Shenmue II - 685
XBX Blinx - 533
GC Mario Party 4 - 6,745
GC Animal Crossing - 1,542
PS2 Hitman 2 - 6,541
