During the Meet Marvel @ NYCC panel at New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics revealed that two of their most popular wisecracking characters will team-up in a new series. “Deadpool the Duck,” a five-issue limited series written by Stuart Moore with art by Jacopo Camagni, will launch in January 2017.

The series will introduce Deadpool the Duck, a character that combines qualities from the cantankerous private eye with the mouthy mercenary. The story will kick off when Deadpool is sent on a mission by S.H.I.E.L.D. to capture a rogue alien. But after a few mishaps, Wade Wilson finds himself duking it out with Howard over the fate of this little E.T.
