After reading over 10 books that Mr. Kameda recommended, I found a common point what is included in all of the books. That is, all of the books what titled with words which related to successful business keys, but these ones focused on different cultures comparison.
Did these writers who succeeded or skilled in their business, but missed to find a right way to navigate the readers to their keys? The answer is definitely NOT. The culture difference is the key.
Business is initiating everywhere and 24 hours around the world. However every country has its own ways or specialized ruled on business. Even among local areas of one country, people talk with different ways. Business is a kind of interaction, what means its successful needed communications between two or more independence economic units. Humans are not robots. Out of the physical factors like price, products or ETC there do are some human connections contain in a trading. Sometimes, these uncertain factors can decide a business.
To know, and to respect your business partner who comes from the different culture will give a big effort on your business. We are living in different cultures, so we have various beliefs and habits. About one thing, there are probably two completely opposite opinions exist. We can certainly stick on ours but we can not force the other side to follow ours. Cultures make communication gaps. What we can do that to lead a business or a communication to success is to respect the other, and trend to think on her/his position. Difficult, easy; expensive, cheap--- some words like these ones are highly discussable. Which standard you followed with that lead you to decide affairs? My country’s, or with our rules is not a proper answer. A successful business is dedicated by all joiners but not by only one side.
Let’s go back to check the books. We can find the writers tried hard to explain or to share the experiences that they ever faced in international business. They all tried to tell us the culture’s importance. Only after you understood the culture, you can success in doing business with that country’s people.
Every country has its rules, sometimes we have to find out the common parts with ours, and sometimes we have to respect and obey theirs. If we do not know or even have not the tendency to know the difference, the difference makes you lose.
So this is why the professionals always say, you made a business succeeded, it means you jumped over the wall of the different cultures, you broke though the barrier of communications.
